Tp-Link Ac1750 Review | Affordable Wireless Router

TP-Link AC1750 Review: (Best of TP-Link)

TP-Link Archer C1750 is in the race with the best routers of 2018 with its fast speed and smooth performance. Although it is quite cheap in price, the performance gets you overwhelmed. For that amount of money, it is probably the most speedy router you can find. It can quite well run your light games and load videos. It comes with 5 dBi antennas that are thicker and firmer than the normal antennas and hence stay firm in place to give out the best wifi range.

The design is a sleek, shiny, black which is attractive. It comes with two USB 2.0 ports on the back (which is rare) and allows you to connect two devices for faster data transfer through your local network. Also four LAN ports, just the usual, but Gigabit and one Gigabit WAN port. Small LEDs on the front panel like you find in most routers makes the design look more attractive. It also comes with internal antennas besides the external antennas which is the reason it excels in speed and long-range tests.

It supports up to 450Mbps speed on the 2.4GHz band and 1300 Mbps on the 5GHz band. Although there are devices that provide up to 1700 Mbps speed, they are usually twice the price C7. So for its price, you are getting a very speedy wireless router. 128 MB Winbond W9751G6JB DDR2 (x2) of a RAM memory. 16 MB of Flash memory.

Additional controls are Parental Control, Local Management Control, Host List, Access Schedule, Rule Management. The parental controls let you manage how many devices and what specific devices you connect to your router. It supports all wireless protocols 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Additional features include DHCP client, Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), bandwidth control, dynamic IP mode, firewall protection, parental control, port triggering, print server, virtual server support, DHCP server, DMZ port, FTP server, IPv4 support, IPv6 support, MAC address filtering, Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI), Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) support.
